MS/HS Virtual Learning Guidelines
Students will follow the Virtual Learning Schedules.
Students will be accessing their classes using Google Classroom.
LIVE sessions will be through Google Meet. Teachers will be instructing students on what has to be done during the sessions through Google Classroom. The Google Meet sessions will be conducted through Google Classroom (See the tutorial on the right).
Students are expected to:
join all lessons on time
engage actively during lessons
follow teacher expectations for participation
Expectations from Students
Expectations from Students
Students are expected to approach virtual learning with the same standards of responsibility and conduct that apply during the regular school day. In particular:
Cameras are expected to be on during live sessions unless otherwise directed by the teacher.
Students must wear appropriate casual clothing suitable for a school environment.
Students should work from a quiet space, where possible, minimizing background noise and distractions.
Students must be prepared for each lesson with the necessary materials and ready to begin on time.
Respectful behaviour is required at all times, including appropriate language, active listening, and responsible use of the chat function.
Safeguarding & Online Conduct
Live sessions may be monitored to ensure student safety and wellbeing.
Students must not record, photograph, or screenshot any part of a lesson.
Online behaviour expectations mirror our in-school expectations, and all school policies remain in effect during virtual learning.
Attendance
Attendance is mandatory for all scheduled lessons
Students are expected to:
attend on time
engage in learning during lessons
Appropriate casual attire is required
Absences should be communicated as normal through attendance@asb.bh
The school will follow up directly with families where attendance is a concern.
