On this project I made a physical representation of a non-recognized group in STEAM. For this project I choose the technical engineer Hedy Lamarr.
WHY?
WHY?
I did this project because I wanted to make a non recognized group of people such like women be recognized. I wanted to make these important people recognized for their accomplishments.
HOW?
HOW?
I first used recycled bottle to make the body and then I used a styrofoam ball for the head. After gluing those together I panted them in the color of my person's skin and strated building props and their clothes.
WHAT?
WHAT?
As a result I got a very pretty representation of my person. I found out how amazing Hedy Lamarr is and how her accomplishment of frequency hopping then affected on so much more discoveries. Such as many wireless technologies like wifi, bluetooth, gps, etc.

Hopefully will help people recognize the amazing accomplishments Hedy Lamarr made.

Next time I can make someone else. I can make another person that contributed in the branch as STEAM and that deserves to be notable.

It's always lovely to learn about a new person in STEM history. Many of them havev such interesting and non-traditional paths that we can empathize with the challenges they experienced.
