I'm did a translator app level 2. It is a challenge but I really wanted to try and improve on my app making skills. Also, it can helped a lot of people that need to know what something means.
I did this because for some people it is hard living in another country and not speaking that language fluently. I wanted to help people understand better different languages.
I used tinkercad and followed a tutorial Mr.Shelden provided us. After that I started investigating on my own and added my own final touches.
I found out that on the making of my translator it had an error. At first I couldn't find it so I asked some of my friends to help me. We finally found it together and fixed it.
I learned a lot of apps and how much effort goes into them. I also learned that although there were complications while making it, I had fun and educative.
In the future, I would like to add the option to say a word or sentence out loud and it translates automatically. Also, that when you download it you can pick the colors, fonts, etc.
I got my Ideas from my classmates, they helped me pick the colos scheme and the asthetic.
What a wonderful app! It is great to help apps that can help people communicate better with others using different languages, in your case English and Spanish. I agree with you that the more efficient way to test apps is by having people use it. I am glad you were able to try out with your friends and got help from them. The idea of oral translation sounds great. I would certanily like to try out your app and specailly with the oral feature you are planning on adding.
