I did a 3D model of a animal cell using Tinkercad for science and STEAM class.
I did this project because I needed to identify the organelles and their functions of plant or animal cells. I choose to create a animal cell model, and got to work on it in STEAM class and science class because in STEAM, we were learning how to create 3D models.
To create my project or develop my solution, I used Tinkercad and used lots of different shapes and figures to create all of the different organelles.
My prototype is a animal cell where 1/4 of the cell is open in order to see the organelles.
My results are important because it creates a visual representation of the cell and a more clear and better view, where you can see the different organelles and with the description, their purpose.
My project has many small and precise details about an animal cell.
I got most of my information from the weekly agendas and ideas from Mr. Lipperer.
Your cell model is both attractive and informative. I love the design and the structures that you created. I think it would be awesome to expand it in the future to perhaps pop up info about each organelle as you click on it, or print it out on the 3D printer. Great job!
