Using cardboards we created some departament offices and some creative projects representing the information given.
I did this project for a class grade in Social studies and had very fun doing it. I was trying to answer the problem of the rivers. I was doing river restaurations and working on making the world a better and cleaning place.
I created my project due to some real problems going on in Paraguay and I developed my solution by creating some department offices by the river were workers could walk towards the river and they have machines so they could clean it. I used figures like squares , rectangles and more to solve this.
I found out that with some time, days, machines and workers, rivers could get better, they could get cleaner and this could help fishes in it and it also can help us because these days rivers are so polluted that you eat a fish and the pollution gets till us. The prototypes work in an intelligent way. There are 4 floors in the work department. The first two floors are for people that sleeps there. The next two floors are for CEO's, Bosses and creators of the project.
My results are very important because it's a thing that can change the world. We are destroying our world and its not fair for fishes. The conclusions I can draw from this is that the world is in very danger and the aquatic animals living in the rivers too.
I could have extended my project by adding more information in the document. My creativity was perfect but I lost more time doing that than doing the information so I need more time doing the information than doing the creativity.
I got the information because I reasearched days about that. The ideas was an idea I got with S. when we were working in the project. We were thinking about a solution and the first thing that came in my head was cleaning them but since the rivers are big, we need alot of workers and alot of space. We decided for the people to sleep there because rivers are out of town and we thought this would be more comfty for them.
Wow! What a great model of a valuable project that could have benefits for our community. You have really brought together social studies, design and modeling, and science together in a fantastic project. Way to go!
