My assignment in steam class was creating a wallet that can satisfy all my costumers need. After I listed everything my costumer requested, I started to sketch and think about how can I physically make an beneficial wallet.
It was an assignment from a class, however I very much enjoyed through the process. Some requests my customer wanted was a wallet with pockets, rectangle, Face ID, water proof, diamonds and gps.
I first made a brain storm and organised my idea of how will my wallet look like and which request will I be focusing on better than others. After making a sketch, I looked for tools I could use to create them.
I loved my results! It was so much better than I expected. My wallet matched my costumers need, plus made an propaganda-pitch for my wallet of why my wallet is the best, which I also put a lot of effort in.
In conclusion, my costumer loved the wallet and my mini propaganda-pitch presentation. Since my propaganda didn't just contain images of my wallet but my voice, she loved it even more.
If there was something that I could have done differently is how I began. Since at first, I didn't have the slightest idea of how can I make an wallet, I could've searched some wallets that others made. This took a lot of time which I could've just used to brain storm more.
My costumer A. was one of the person I want to give acknowledgment. Without her request, my wallet could've been a simple and not creative wallet.
Clear evidence of the design process in action. You share ample notes, ideas, and prototyping to understand the needs of your client. I would love to see a video of the final wallet design because the more I look at the image the more details I notice. At this point, you would be wise to start making physical prototypes of your ideas and then using materials other than cardboard to create them. It's very possible that you could start your own business from them!
