Topics currently being taught:
During this term the classes will be working on the following:
1. Finance - Hire Purchase, VAT, Interest, Insurance, Profit Loss, Best Deals.
2. Wages and Salaries - Commission, Overtime, Net Pay, Gross Pay, Income Tax, National Insurance.
3. Statistics - Averages, Quartiles, Box Plots, Interquartile Range, Semi Interquartile Range and Standard Deviation.
It is vital that all work set by teachers is completed by all learners. The content being taught, along with previous content will be assessed on the return to school and may be used to inform estimate grades for certification in August.

Completing the work:
All classwork will be set on Microsoft Teams.
Most of the work that is to be completed will be written work and this should be completed in jotters or on paper and answers checked regularly - if any pupil has any issues with any of the tasks set then they should contact their class teacher.
There may also be work set on mymaths - to give teachers an idea of the progress being made.
