Geography Advanced Higher

January - February course plan:

In January, you will continue to work on your Geographical Study, worth 40% of your final grade, with weekly deadlines. Miss Gauld and Miss Cowan will mark your Study each week and email you detailed feedback, focusing on how you can improve your Study to reach your target grade.

Miss Cowan will also lead the teaching of the Essay, worth 30% of your final grade. This will be done via live class calls (Mondays at 12pm) and video Powerpoints to take you through each aspect of the Essay. There will be weekly/bi-weekly deadlines for this, with the aim of a full first draft being submitted by the week after the February long weekend.

It is essential that all deadlines are met to ensure that you are on track to achieving your target grade and so that we can give you detailed feedback in a timely fashion.

Work to be completed:

Work will be uploaded weekly by Miss Gauld and Miss Cowan to the Advanced Higher class Teams page. Anyone who has not already been added to this Teams page should add themselves using the following code: uj85etw
