Topics being covered:

Set 1 / 2 classes:

These classes will be working on algebra over the next few weeks.

They will be focussing on removing brackets, simplifying algebraic expressions and will then move on to factorising.

Classes have printed note booklets and these should be completed during the closure period.

Set 3 classes:

These classes are currently working to bank N4 Mathematics to see if progressing to N5 Applications of Mathematics in S4 would be suitable.

3X3 (Miss May) - This class is currently working on finding area and volume of shapes.

3Y3 (Mr Giffney) - This class will be starting to work on statistics and representing data

Set 4 / 5 classes:

These classes will be starting to work towards part of the N4 course.

The starting point will be looking at algebra and collecting like terms, removing brackets, factorising and substitution.

Further information on the timeline will be communicated if we continue to be closed beyond this point.

There is an expectation that learners will submit work throughout the week. This will either be through microsoft forms (links will be posted on the appropriate team) and through mymaths.
