ARTIST STATEMENT

Born Blonde is a series of acrylic paintings all about the life of Leah. I pose my models as if they are for still life paintings. In this way I am totally focused on composition. Lighting is extremely important to me. By doing interiors I have control over the light source, and it can come from various sources which makes it more challenging and exciting to paint.
