About the Program

The First Year Scholars Program is a learning community comprised of  undergraduate students who are admitted to the Scholars Program through the admissions process and who want to pursue rigorous study in both their academic and studio coursework. Students who successfully complete the required First Year Scholars Program  (a total of 5 courses)  will be assigned priority registration during their junior and senior years at SAIC.

SAIC regularly updates and refines the details of the Scholars Program, and as such students should navigate to the appropriate section for information about the specific model they are participating in.
