The colours refer to to the traditional kowhaiwhai patterns on the inside of the meeting houses. This represents the coming together of different groups and the belief that with cooperation, where everyone does their part, the work will be complete.

Kāhui Ako o Wakatipu (Community of Learning) is nestled in one of the most beautiful parts of the world; the Southern Lakes District, Otago, New Zealand. The Kāhui Ako encompasses all eight schools in our region: Arrowtown Primary School, Glenorchy Primary School, Kingsview Primary School, Queenstown Primary School, Remarkables Primary School, Shotover Primary School, St. Joseph's Primary School and Wakatipu High School.
