Accessible Legal Documents
Over 25 million individuals in the United States possess limited English proficiency according to the National Center for Access to Justice.
To date, we have completed over 100 translations for Arkansas circuit and district courts. Languages requested have been Spanish, Marshallese, Karen, and Chuukese. These collective efforts will pave the way for a more accessible, equitable, and just legal system. We look forward to more partnerships and continue to work towards a future where language is no longer a hurdle to accessing justice.
If you would like forms translated for your court, at no cost, please fill out the contact form below.
Access to Justice offers certified translations of court forms to any court by using freelance Certified Interpreters to perform such translations. This service is offered in addition to the services regularly provided by the Office of Court Interpreting Services from the Administrative Office of the Courts. These forms are provided to increase court accessibility for individuals with limited English proficiency.
Please note that when these services are offered, Access to Justice and its agents do not assume the risk of any inaccuracies or errors. Should you have any suggestions, comments, or complaints related to these forms, please contact Edith Chavez at edith@arkansasjustice.org.
