Welcome to the University of Arizona's Teaching-as-Research (TAR) Project Website!
On this website, you will find an archive of all of the teaching-as-research (TAR) projects completed by graduate students and postdocs in the CIRTL program at the University of Arizona. To complete a TAR project, students spend a semester exploring a teaching challenge, design and implement a classroom-based study, collect and analyze data, and create a personal webpage here to share their findings. If you would like to see student TAR projects, click on a semester tab at the top and select from the dropdown menu of student names. If you would like to see a list of all projects, along with a short description of their projects, see the index tab.
This site was developed by the students in the first TAR cohort in Spring 2023, with the idea of creating an archive for their work and future TAR students. It is now maintained by the University of Arizona's Center for the Integration of Research, Teaching, and Learning (CIRTL@Arizona), a professional development in teaching network for graduate students, postdocs, and early-career faculty. As a program, CIRTL@Arizona is housed in the University Center for Assessment, Teaching, and Technology (UCATT).
