Thu Vo is currently an English teacher at Dong Thap University,  in the Mekong delta, the South of Vietnam.  She completed an MA in TESOL at Can Tho University Vietnam. She taught Vietnamese at Yale University in the academic year 2020-2021 as a teaching assistant via the Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistantship. She has a strong passion for teaching the Vietnamese language and sharing Vietnamese culture. Besides, she has worked as a freelance Vietnamese instructor online and offline in Vietnam and a Vietnamese rater for Avant Assessment, headquartered in the USA. She has been working for Arizona University to develop Vietnamese teaching materials since last summer.

The Center for East Asian Studies (CEAS), at the University of Arizona, is a Title VI National Resource Center supported by the U.S. Department of Education. CEAS assists and promotes the study of and research into East Asian languages and cultures throughout the university. In the community, our center aims to produce equitable and inclusive access to educational materials, professional development, cultural demonstrations, and exchange opportunities related to East Asia and the region's languages across Southern Arizona, and beyond.
