Welcome to the 2025-2026 school year!

I’m so excited to begin this school year with you! My journey in education began in 2000 in Lewisville ISD. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of teaching Kindergarten, 2nd grade, and most extensively, 4th grade—which I taught for 13 of my 16 years. In 2016, I stepped away from teaching to stay home with my daughter, Emma. Last year, I returned to education as an aide and then stepped into a role as a Special Education teacher here at JRE.

The pull of education is something I simply couldn’t resist. My passion lies in helping students grow—watching them grasp challenging concepts through productive struggle and connecting with each student so they know they are seen, valued, and heard, so I am thrilled to be back in the classroom! 

This year is going to be Just Right for Everyone! Together, we’ll dive into exciting topics in science such as matter, force and motion, energy, earth, space, and more! We’ll apply scientific reasoning and explore engineering to expand our understanding of the world. In Social Studies, we’ll journey through U.S. history, government, geography, citizenship, and beyond!

I can’t wait to learn, explore, and grow with each of you. Let’s make this a fantastic year!
