About me

Welcome to Kindergarten with Mrs. Bautsch! I am SO excited to have the privilege of being your child's teacher this year. Kindergarten is such a pivotal and special time in the educational journey and I am honored to partner with you in leading your student through this magical year at JRE! 

I have wanted to be a teacher forever. Some of the earliest memories I have are of arriving home from school and running into my bedroom to line up my stuffed animals and teach them "today's lesson". :) I was born in Florida but have been in Texas since 4th grade. After high school I attended and graduated from UT Austin and began my teaching career in dual language and then bilingual education. I was fortunate enough to travel while teaching, living in the Dominican Republic for two years and then inner city Miami for two years. I eventually found my way back home to Texas, marrying my childhood crush from my hometown! We have two beautiful daughters who attend JRE with me and we are so proud to be Argyle Eagles!
