Participation
Everyone in the classroom is expected to be respectful, responsible, and ready.
Homework – Homework will be minimal in this course, but small outside reading assignments may be assigned if not finished in class or if the student has been absent.
Tardy/Absences – Being in class for the full class period is critical for academic growth. As per the student handbook, three unexcused tardies will result in a detention. Students are responsible for making up missed assignments during absences.
Restroom Policy- During independent work time students may leave the classroom for the restroom or locker with an emergency pass (6 per semester/3 times per quarter). Students will be given a pass sheet that they will get stamped. If the student doesn’t have the sheet or has used the allotted passes he/she will attend the next Lyceum time with the teacher to make up for the time missed.. Students are expected to be back in the classroom within 5 minutes and not disturb others.
