About us

AREA Ingenieros Consultores is a Colombian Engineering firm with 44 years of experience dedicated to consulting and supervision in structural design. We have designed 3 million square meters in buildings and over 200 bridges.

We have qualified personnel with specialist degrees, master's degrees (Dipl. Ing. in Germany), and candidates for a PhD in structural design, innovation, and data analytics with proficiency in 3 languages (German, English, and Spanish).

We are aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals set by the UN, specifically in the challenges of sustainable infrastructure and cities. Our contribution is to achieve efficient and sustainable structures.

Furthermore, we combine our expertise in structural design with the VDC methodology, relying on BIM tools with a high level of detail development (LOD 400) to enrich workflows with our allies. This way, we provide projects with better visualization tools to accurately estimate material quantities in projects and identify critical areas in construction. We also seek to increase performance in the construction process, reducing material waste and rework.
