Spring 2025 Class Descriptions
Basketball (Grades 2, 3, 4) $140: Students will practice the fundamentals of dribbling, ball handling, and shooting in a modified setting. They will be able to use these skills in game-like activities. *24 student limit
Beadz and Bling (Grades 2, 3, 4) $160: Join Beadz and Bling afterschool class for a dazzling adventure! Dive into a world of creativity as you transform plain objects into sparkling masterpieces with beads and rhinestones. Let your imagination shine as you design and decorate pieces that are all your own. Get ready to add some sparkle to your day! This class runs double sessions to ensure enough time to complete projects.*12 student limit
Chess Club (Grades 2, 3, 4) $160: Join our Chess Club for Grades 2, 3, and 4 and discover the exciting world of strategy, critical thinking, and fun! Whether you're a beginner or have some experience, our club offers a supportive environment to learn new skills, challenge friends, and build confidence through friendly games and activities. Come and be part of a team where every move counts and every game is a new adventure! *12 student limit
Crafty Kids (Grades K, 1, 2) $160: The students will use their creativity to make crafts for the season and for holidays using different mediums such as wood, paper, foam and recycled items. *12 student limit
Decoupage Design (Grades 3-4) $160: Does your student enjoy being creative, crafty, and designing? Let’s get sticky and have lots of fun while learning to up-cycle, create art and decoupage. This class runs double sessions to ensure enough time to complete projects. *12 student limit
Gimkit Geniuses (Grades 2, 3, 4) $140: Gimkit Geniuses will be an interactive and engaging after school program where students will use the computer game-show platform "Gimkit" to learn while also having fun! Our club will encourage teamwork, friendly competition, and instant feedback as they answer questions to earn virtual currency to advance in the game. Students will strengthen their knowledge on a variety of subjects while also having a blast! *12 student limit
Kids Cooking (Grades K, 1, 2) $160: Students will learn to make basic recipes for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks in this hands-on cooking class. *12 student limit *Children with food allergies should NOT register for a cooking class*
Mario Kart Team Racing (Grades 3-4) $140: "START YOUR ENGINES"... Get behind the digital wheel and race your classmates on a variety of different tracks. In this class we will be practicing good sportsmanship, teamwork and our communication skills. I look forward to seeing you at the starting line! *12 student limit
Masterpiece Makers (Grades 32,4) $160: Unleash your creativity in Masterpiece Makers! Students will express themselves through painting, drawing, and unique crafts, exploring different materials and styles. Each session fosters imagination, confidence, and self-expression—all while having fun! *12 student limit
Math Club (Grades K, 1, 2) $160: Bring numbers to life with eye-opening, hands-on activities.
Kids learning addition and subtraction with fun engaging activities. Students of all abilities can participate and enhance their math skills by playing games and working together to solve problems in a stress free environment with their peers. Students will earn prizes and enjoy learning! *12 student limit
Mindfulness (Grades K, 1, 2) $160: Mindfulness is a science-based practice that reduces anxiety and stress levels and improves a person’s overall mood. Studies on the impact of mindfulness practices with children have shown that it helps boost academic performance, increase optimism and calm anxiety. Learning mindfulness early in life will help kids grow up to be healthy adults with a strong grasp on stress management. *12 student limit
Nature Club (Grades K, 1, 2) $160: CRS Nature Club will focus on fostering students’ respect for nature and for our planet, as well as lay the foundation for students’ environmental awareness. Students will learn about native plants and animals, participate in hands-on nature-based projects, go on nature walks, tend to the school garden, and share their love of nature with like-minded friends. We will play, read, sing, and create art with natural materials. Nature Club will R.O.A.R. for nature! *12 student limit
Puzzle Making (Grades 2,3,4) $160: A fun and engaging way to develop critical thinking, problem-solving skills, creativity, spatial awareness, and fine motor skills through the process of designing and constructing puzzles, while also fostering a sense of accomplishment and satisfaction upon completion. *12 student limit
Rollerblading (Grades 2, 3, 4) $140: Students will have an opportunity to practice their rollerblading skills in a safe environment. Fun games such as tag, relays, and capture the flag will also be played while rollerblading. This class runs double sessions.
Students should have some experience rollerblading before they come to class. Students must supply their own rollerblades, helmet, knee, wrist, and elbow guards. Equipment should be put in a labeled bag and is stored in the gym. *24 student limit
Sing, Dance, and Shake (Grades K, 1, 2) $140: Come and have some fun as we sing, play, dance, and move to music! *12 student limit
Scientific Adventures (Grades 3-4) $160: This is not your average science class! In this program the students will be hands-on during our lessons. The weather will be warmer and we will be outside as much as possible. Through hands-on experiments the students will learn how to complete tasks and work as a team. *12 student limit
Spanish (Grades K, 1, 2 & 3,4) $160: Learning another language is interesting and fun! Children will practice some basic Spanish words and phrases as well as learn a bit about Spanish culture through books, games and music. *12 student limit
Spanish: Intermediate (Grades K, 1, 2) $160: Intermediate Spanish Class will be focusing on building conversational skills, expanding vocabulary, and reinforcing basic grammar concepts. Students engage in simple dialogues, role-playing scenarios, and listening activities. The class will encourage communication. *12 student limit
Sports and Games (Grades K, 1) $140: This is a non-competitive program. The class is a combination of games and traditional sports. Students will have an opportunity to use all kinds of equipment including scooters, tricycles, hula hoops, jump ropes, bean bags, and various types of balls. *24 student limit
Storytime (Grades K, 1, 2) $160: This is a cozy story time, an after-school treat. Each week Mrs. Seiler will read an enchanting story book with vibrant illustrations. A collaborative book-talk to follow as we sit in a circle and discuss the mood of the story, and how it makes us feel. The activity is an illustration of our favorite part of the story. We will record our work in an artist’s journal. *12 student limit
Yoga (Grades K, 1, 2, 3, 4) $140: Children will experience all the benefits of yoga including breathing techniques and physical postures. They will learn to practice these postures anywhere to help build self-esteem and self-respect. Yoga helps children to focus and concentrate. Yoga mats are provided. *12 student limit
Zumba (Grades K, 1, 2, 3, 4) $140: Students will have fun dancing to Latin-American inspired music as well as other types of modern music all while keeping their heart pumping! *18 student limit
