STEM Graduate Programs

On August 24th, 2018, the second STEM graduate program was launched at the CLAS Graduate Student Orientation which included:

  • M.S. Applied Statistics & Analytics. Dr. Rod Sturdivant, Director, welcomed 21 new graduate students into the new program.
  • M.S. Biotechnology. Dr. David Dyer, Executive Director, welcomed 24 new graduate students into the second cohort, totaling 48 students in the MSBT program.

In addition, M.A. English and M.A. TESOL (CLAS graduate programs) joined this year's Graduate Student Orientation in Segerstrom Perry Lecture Hall. It was a joyous and exciting event made possible by the CLAS Dean's Office, under the coordination of Dr. Denise Ferguson, Associate Dean of Graduate Programs and Research.
