As the second half of the school year begins, it's crucial to ensure that your child's emergency contact information in our student information system is accurate and up-to-date. We kindly ask that you review and update your child’s emergency contact information by February 28, 2025.

The back of this letter is the contact information we have in our system. Read below for what you should do next.

Why is this important?

Emergency contacts play a vital role in the safety and well-being of your child. In the event that we cannot reach the parent or guardian, the designated emergency contact(s) will be notified for guidance. Beginning March 1, 2025, they will also be authorized to pick up your child from school in case of emergency.

Please carefully consider the following as you update your emergency contact information:

Select individuals who are readily available and can respond promptly to school calls.
Prioritize individuals who are familiar with your child's needs and can provide appropriate care.
Make sure each designated individual’s contact information is accurate and up-to-date.

How to Update Your Child's Emergency Contact Information

Home Access Center: If you have not updated your child's information this school year, visit https://tinyurl.com/HACUpdateContact to sign into the Home Access Center (HAC). If you need help with logging into HAC, contact your child's school. Review this guide for instructions on how to update your information: https://tinyurl.com/UpdateInfoGuide

If you have already updated your student's information in HAC and do not wish to make changes to the contacts listed on the next page, simply write ‘confirmed’, sign the page and return the letter to school.

If you have already updated your student's information in HAC but need to make changes, cross out the outdated information, update it, sign, and return the letter to the school.

In-Person: Visit your child’s school office during school hours to complete an update form, or stop by the Engagement Center at 10 North Main between the hours of 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM.
