Home Access Center

Akron Public Schools proudly offers to all students and guardians access to schedules, grades, teacher contact information, class assignments, and attendance through Home Access Center (HAC). HAC allows for users to stay up to date on the grades and progress being made in courses throughout the school year.

In order to sign into HAC, you may visit www.akronschools.com and then click on the Home Access Center section. There you will find more information in addition to a HAC guidebook. You may also sign directly into HAC by visiting: https://homeaccess.akron.k12.oh.us/HomeAccess

To create your account you must:

• Click on the link that says "Click Here To Register with Access Code."

• Enter the access code provided in this letter in addition to the birthdate of one of your students in a mm/dd/yyyy format.

• Create a username and password. We recommend using your email address as your username when registering.

• Enter challenge questions and answers so you can recover your password should you forget it.

You will not need to perform the actions listed if you have already created a username and password.

Student Access: It is important to Akron Public Schools that students routinely keep on top of their progress in courses. Students have the ability to view their individual HAC access via the APSLearns Portal by clicking on the HAC tile. Your students should know their individual password provided at school.
