Eighth grade ELA is a continuation of knowledge and skills students gained during their 6th and 7th grade years. This year we will continue to use the ELA Amplify platform in order to help enrich your student's reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills. All lessons are anchored in the GA Standards of Excellence. Students will be take part in activities such as: whole and small group discussion, writing tasks, projects, and literature circles. The goal is for students to leave the classroom better thinkers, readers, writers, and listeners. I look forward to a WONDERFUL productive year!
