Welcome to my homepage.
I have been teaching at Cibola since 2000, in a variety of courses, from World History, AP World History, AP Seminar, American Humanities, and French. My main focus, though, has been U.S. Government and A.P. U.S. Government and Politics. I have a M.A. in Political Science from Binghamton University in New York, and earned my teaching credentials at the University of Houston. I also worked in Alief ISD, in Houston, for three years, but Cibola is my school family.
Below you will find links to my syllabi, welcome letters, and google classroom codes, as well as contact information. If you have questions or concerns, please do not hesistate to reach out.
Here's to a successful year!

AP Government content syllabus (This is a suggested syllabus from the College Board based on the current curriculum. I intend to use this as a guide, but may make adjustments as the semester dictates.)
Google classrooms: Students will be sent invitations to join the appropriate google classroom OR will be automatically added through the synergy/StudentVue platform. For privacy reasons, I will not post the join codes publicly. Parents are welcome to be added to the classroom. Please email me to request access and I will send you an invitation. Be aware, google classroom is only as a backup in this course - not the primary platform for assignments.
