Ms. Hernandez

Welcome to my Third Grade Class! I look forward to getting to know you and your student. Building relationships is very important to me and I am excited to be your child’s teacher!

I have an eleven year old daughter who is in fifth grade this year. I love to sing, my favorite color is purple, I love sour candy, and eating sushi!

I am from Albuquerque and I attended The University of New Mexico. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Music and Elementary Education. I received my Master’s degree in Elementary Education and Pre-K-12 Administration through Eastern New Mexico University. I have endorsements in English Language Arts, Performing Arts, and Teaching English as a Second Language.

My future goals are to sing on Broadway someday and become a Principal and eventually open a performing arts charter school for elementary students. I also have a long term goal to become Superintendent of a school district one day, to continue to make changes for students and teachers on a global level.

I look forward to getting to know you and your child and all the important people in your lives. We are going to have a fantastic year and a wonderful educational journey! I am so grateful for this opportunity to be your student’s teacher!
