Julie Baker

Welcome to eCademy K8! I am Julie Baker your Dean of Elementary Students.

I am the proud momma of two amazing young men. Spending time with family and friends; playing games and exploring the great outdoors is where I find my joy.

I started teaching in 1990 when I graduated with a Bachelors of Education degree from the University of New Mexico. Through my almost 30 years of teaching, I have had the opportunity to work in a variety of positions at the schools. Some of those positions were in the classroom at most grade levels, librarian, EA, health assistant, and Education Technology Specialist for the last seven years. These experiences have strengthened my understanding of best practices in a school and helped to expand my knowledge of how students learn. I am excited to share and learn right along with you all.

My goal is to serve our school community in providing an opportunity for student success in a virtual learning environment. With that in mind, collaborating with you all and making those connections that will yield the greatest potential for our students, is where I will meet you.
