¡Bienvenidos! I am Señor García. Overall this is my 13th year of teaching Spanish, with all of them spent here at Cibola High School. I hope to instill in our students the same passion for the Spanish language and culture that I experienced in high school. My travels to the Spanish-speaking countries include: various parts of México, Honduras, Ecuador, and Costa Rica. In 2010 I received my BA in Secondary Education at the University of New Mexico, and in 2023 I received my MA in Educational Leadership at NM Highlands. In addition to speaking English and Spanish, I speak my native language Keres. At our school, I am the sponsor of the Native American Club. Please feel free to message me if you have any questions.

Native American Club
Meets every Wednesday in P-21. Members can letter in the club. Seniors can earn a graduation stole if they have a 3.0 cumulative GPA and have been a member for 2 years.
