Class Chats will be held through google meets. You will need to either go to the website (meets.google.com ) or download the app.
Each week I will post the link to the class chat through google classroom.
Note: You might need to be logged into your school google email account in order to see the meetings. All meetings will be recorded.
"Class Chat" Norms
What are the classroom expectations on all online platforms?
- Be positive- come to class chats with a positive attitude and an eagerness to learn.
- Be prepared- come to class chats (on time)
- Be polite- be respectful of yourself, each other, and the teacher.
- Be productive- be ready to work each day, follow directions when they are given, and participate each day.
What are the consequences?
- Verbal warning
- Mini-conference with teacher
- Email/Phone call home
Tutoring/Extra Help
These are some of the tutoring/practice options that are available to you.
- Office Hours for Distance Learning: Thursdays and Fridays 9:00-12:00 via phone/virtual conference (please schedule an appointment)
- Dial-A-Teacher offers tutoring over the phone from 5:30 – 8:30 pm Monday through Thursday by calling 344-3571 (available in English or Spanish).
- The public library offers free online tutoring and practice online at https://abqlibrary.org/kidscorner/tutoring
- Khan academy videos for any topic: https://www.khanacademy.org/
- Algebra 2: www.mathhelp.com/algebra-2-help/offers a great on-line resource, though not live, for algebra assistance.
- Geometry: https://www.mathhelp.com/geometry-help/ offers a great on-line resource, though not live, for geometry assistance.
