Student Assistance Team, 504-Plan & IEP
Student Assistance Team (SAT)
Each APS school has a Student Assistance Team (formerly Student Support Team) whose role is to ensure that students are provided the opportunity to succeed in the general education environment.
To request a SAT meeting:
A parent/guardian must email Principal Pam Meyer directly
Principal Meyer will then refer the parent/guardian's request to the SAT chairperson who will contact the parent/guardian to schedule a meeting.
As your 11th Grade school counselors, Mrs. Stroka and Ms. Garcia are happy to participate in SAT meetings and assist in any way possible.
504 Accommodation Plan
APS provides reasonable accommodations and comparable opportunities to students with disabilities in the general education setting through a 504 Accommodation Plan.
To request a 504-Plan meeting, a parent/guardian must contact Ms. Dusti Griffin.
