Class Overview
Hello! I’m Mrs. Garcia, entering my 6th year of teaching – and my 5th year at Chelwood. Having taught here for the last 5 years, I've built strong relationships with colleagues, school routines, and many of our students’ families. I’m thrilled to welcome a brand‑new group into 3rd grade, a year when young learners grow in independence, critical thinking, and classroom leadership.
About me
This will be my 6th year teaching and 5th year at Chelwood. I have my level 2 teaching license & working towards level 3. I love teaching! Before working for APS, I taught at a Montessori school for 2 years and a Child Development school for 2 years. My husband and I have an almost 4-year-old son, two cats, and one dog. I love spending time with my family. I am so excited for this school year.
