About Me

I am a double major undergraduate student pursuing a BSBA in Computer Information Systems and a BS in Graphic Communications Management along with a minor in studio art. My expected graduation date is May 2024 and am hoping to continue my education at NC State by joining their MGXD program in August 2024. I have enjoyed my time here at Appalachian State and learning more about the world through the lens of business. Discovering how my areas of study interconnect and can become a satisfying future career for me has been an interesting journey as well.

Professionally, I have experience with a multitude of industries, including supervisory roles, where I've managed data, employees, and project timelines. Including a long-standing role with the Plemmons Student Union where I have moved from Audio Visual Technician to Audio Visual Student Supervisor within a year, I have held two internships with large companies where I have gained invaluable exposure to real-life projects and roles. The varied nature, one being more technical, the other more design, has given me a well-rounded view of what I want and how to achieve results in a timely manner.

About This Portfolio

In this portfolio, I aim to showcase what I have learned over my time here at ASU and how it has influenced my abilities, which will shape my future. Five "artifacts" were collected to display this, alongside detailed reflections on what these assignments taught me. These artifacts are categorized into goals:

In addition to these five goals of the business school, there is the capstone project, which displays my aptitude to combine my two areas of study into one project. This portfolio is organized by each artifact, along with my resume and capstone project. Ultimately, this portfolio showcases all that I have learned within the Walker College of Business and how I have grown as a professional.
