I am an Assistant Professor in Computer Science at Appalachian State University (ASU). Before joining ASU, I was a Postdoctoral Scholar at Data Mining and Machine Learning Lab at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC), where I investigated and developed different Artificial Intelligence (AI) models for prediction and recognision of ophthalmic diseases. I received my Ph.D. in Computer Engineering, Artificial Intelligence and Robotics in 2020.
My research interests include Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), Robotics, Transfer Learning (TL), Domain Adaptation (DA), and Bioinformatics.
I am committed to education and fostering discussions within my field. I actively engage with other experts to stay informed on hot topics in the academia and industry to learn about different subjects. I am also passionate about implementing and developing methods and algorithms in my research field. My dedication to my work and my commitment to education have allowed me to contribute to cutting-edge research and advance the field of AI/ML. I am proud to be a part of a community of experts who strive to improve the lives of others through technology and innovation. I enjoy exploring how generative AI technologies transform diverse industries. I am always eager to explore new opportunities to push the boundaries of what's possible in AI.
