Audiobooks and Ebooks

Jefferson students have access to a variety of audiobooks and ebooks through the digital services below. Select the drop-down for each service to learn how to access materials.

If you have trouble accessing these materials, please use the email link at the bottom of this page or through the Students Accounts page.


Using MackinVIA

Log in using your PSS username and password.

Select "Listen Now" or "Open Now" button to preview the book, then click "Checkout" to get it!

It will then be located in your backpack, just click the icon at the top right of the screen.

EBOOKS and AUDIOBOOKS can be checked out when copies are available, and they will return automatically at the end of the checkout period.


Using Sora

Log in using your PSS username and password.

To checkout an audiobook or eBook, select the book you would like to read, and then select BORROW.

Connect your Jefferson account with the Multnomah County Library. To add your MCL account, select the Add Public Library link under the hamburger in the top right corner of the Sora website.


Using TeenBookCloud

Log in: Username: pps/ Password: books

TeenBookCloud is an online database of graphic novels, enhanced novels, eBooks, classic literature, National Geographic videos, and audiobooks. The collection is available online around the clock. No downloads, no waiting! If you can access the internet, you can be reading, watching, or listening to fantastic content.


Using Sync Audiobooks for Teens

Visit the SYNC website to sign up.

SYNC is a free summer audiobook program for teens 13+. Starting April 30th and continuing 13 weeks until July 29, SYNC gives students two thematically paired audiobooks a week.
