Student One-to-One Procedures

  • If you are not able to help troubleshoot, please send students to the library.

  • Send students to the library if they need to borrow a computer or a charger (?)

  • Send students to the library if their Chromebook is damaged or has been lost or stolen. Students will be issued a replacement.

  • Default password for new PPS students is: Pps###### (6-digit student ID number)

  • Student username is typically first initial, last name, last four of student ID. (lmorlock1234)

  • All teachers can reset students passwords. Directions are available on Demo Staff Canvas. Passwords must be at least 16-digits.

  • Send students to the library if they are having trouble logging in to StudentVue

Please be patient as we transition to this new one-to-one model.

Teachers and Staff

  • Help troubleshoot Pixelbooks and Tech bundles

  • Help troubleshoot application issues (e.g. Canvas)

  • Teachers can also submit their own help desk tickets through OTIS (support.pps.net) or call ext. 63375 for immediate assistance.

  • If you have additional tech needs, such as a keyboard or mouse or USB cables, check with the library first. If we don't have it, you will need to put in a request with Mr. Lopez and get administrative approval.

  • My PPS replaces Clever. Both teachers and students can access all apps and you can add additional apps.

  • PPS Digital Tool Kit and approved district applications (All apps you ask students to use must be on the district approval list or you need to submit an approval request. Students should only log in to school-related apps using their PPS accounts)

  • Learning Technologies

  • District wifi password (DO NOT share or publish the wireless password with students. They must connect their personal devices using the guest network.)

  • School website editor including the school calendar
