MakerSPACE
Makerspaces use the principles of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) to spark students learning and critical thinking skills.
Once per month a Virtual Maker Monday challenge will be posted here. Student will have all month to gather supplies at home to explore and create in that month's STEAM Experience/Maker Project.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE
1. Choose one of the challenges below.
2. Click the name to see the instructions. Read through all the instructions first.
3. Prepare your supplies.
4. Practice the challenge
5. Film your result and share what you learned!
(In your video, show your finished project and talk about what worked well in the challenge, what caused you trouble, and what you did to adjust and make the challenge work. Share what you learned in the process!)
Film another challenge if you choose to do more!
Remember that it is a CHALLENGE! Things may not go right the first time around. You are an INVENTOR and SCIENTIST when trying these challenges, so you may have to adjust, improvise, and use your prior knowledge.
