You can now use add-ons within Classroom to share engaging activities and content with your class. Add-ons can be attached to assignments, quiz assignments, questions, materials, or announcements.
Currently, you can choose from Pear Deck, EdPuzzle, Formative, WeVideo and IXL for our district.
Screencastify
New Editor Tool
Blur Tool : Use to hide confidential text or blur faces.
Enhanced text box features.
New Features
View Analytics: ability to see who watched the video.
Insert Questions: similar to EdPuzzle, and have the ability to view results in real time.
Google Forms
Autosave Responses
Autosave responses for 30 days. Users can finish the form at another time w/in the 30 day window.
Google Meet
New waiting room for users joining the Meet. The Meet won't begin until the hosts starts the meeting.
After 5 minutes of inactivity and only one user in the Meet, the Meet will end. If desired, users can turn this feature off by going to Settings, General, and toggling it off.

Screencastify - Low Disk Space Notification
Screencastify requires at least 1 GB of free disk space to work properly, even if you save your recordings on Google Drive. This is because the upload to Google Drive happens after the recording has been completed, so Screencastify needs some disk space to temporarily store your recordings.
If you receive this message you will need to free up disk space on your Chromebook. Click on the materials below to view how to check your Chromebook storage and how to manage your storage.
