Graduation

Tickets:

Please see the email communication sent March 24th to request tickets (up to 8) and extra tickets (up to 2). Please complete the request forms by May 1st.

**ALL SUBMITTED EXTRA TICKET REQUESTS WERE ABLE TO BE HONORED**

Tickets will be emailed by Dunkin’ Park to the address(es) provided in the ticket request form. Be on the lookout for an email from Tickets@yardgoatsbaseball.com the week of June 2nd. 

Student Information:

Graduation is a special ceremony, we ask students to dress appropriately for the occasion.  Appropriate dress for graduation includes any of the following: shirt, tie, slacks, skirts, pants, blouses, and/or dresses.  Because of the pathway used for the processional, Dunkin’ Park advises students not to wear heels (wedges are acceptable). 

Please note, cap and gown decorations are not allowed and seniors cannot bring backpacks, purses, or bags of any kind to the ceremony. Students who have decorated caps will receive a new one prior to boarding the bus. 

On Graduation Day:

• Students must report to the SWHS auditorium by 12:00 PM on the day of graduation to learn important ceremony procedures and instructions. 

• Students should arrive with their cap, gown, and cord(s). 

• All students must be transported to Dunkin’ Park via bus (buses depart SWHS at 1:00 PM). 

• Parents will be responsible for transporting graduates home after the ceremony. Any parent/guardian anticipating a problem transporting your graduate, please contact Ms. Andrews (kandrews@swindsor.k12.ct.us) 

Guest Information:

• Dunkin’ Park will be open to guests at 1:00 PM (the ceremony will begin at 2:00 PM).

• Only guests with tickets will be permitted into the venue. Children 2 and under who are sitting on a lap do not require a ticket. Guests without tickets will be denied admission. 

• Parking will be paid for by the school and guests will receive two complimentary parking passes. These passes will be provided to seniors, along with caps and gowns, on June 4th & 5th.  If a family requires more than 2 parking passes, there is a $5 fee for each additional pass. These can be purchased at cap & gown pick up day.
