The Wellington Library is home to over 400 "Wolverine Readers." Students have scheduled library times weekly as well as individual access Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday before school. Books are checked out for two weeks at a time and can be renewed. The library collection is funded through district-allocated budget, the PTA, and the school Book Fair. The program is run by a certificated teacher-librarian, as well as a group of dedicated parent volunteers!

Students should let the librarian know they have lost their book and need to pay for it. The book is marked lost in the library system and the student will be notified of what the replacement cost of the book is. Payment for the exact amount in cash or check is to be turned into the office. Payments can also be made online by going to nsd.org and clicking on "Families" and then "Payments" (contact the main office for help in setting up a payments account).
A book can only be placed on hold if it is currently checked out. To place a hold, fill out a pink hold request slip with the date, your name, and the title of the book. Place the completed slip in the basket next to the slips.
