BIO:

I began teaching at Woodinville in 2003. In my career, I have taught Spanish 100, 200, 300, CHS 350/UW103, 400 AP and 500, and previously student taught at WHS.

Education:

I graduated from the University of Washington with a BA in Spanish with an English minor. During that time, I spent one quarter studying at the University of Granada in Spain. I received my Masters in Teaching and Teaching Certificate also from the UW in Spanish K-12 and English 4-12.

Other Information and Interests:

I enjoy learning about cultures through foreign travel and have been to almost 20 countries including travels through Europe, Africa and Central America. Just before my arrival at Woodinville, my husband and I lived in Madrid for over a year where we able to travel around much of Europe. My love for Spain has led me to plan and guide groups of students to tour the country. But my favorite thing to do when I'm not teaching is spend time at home in Seattle with my husband, son (12) and daughter (10).
