Welcome to Mrs. Hart's Classroom Website

Announcement: The most up to date information on the happenings of our classroom will always be sent via email, as Mrs. Hart has less time with a toddler at home to update her blog and this website. Sorry for the inconvenience!

About Mrs. Hart

Mrs. Hart, originally from Western New York, moved to Washington state in 2005 after graduating from college. She worked for one of the biggest law firms in Seattle before deciding to become a teacher. Since receiving her teaching certificate in 2010, she has tutored and taught in several schools around the state from Tacoma to Monroe in gifted and general education classrooms. Mrs. Hart was a teacher at Bear Creek Elementary from 2016 to 2020, in 4th and 5th grade EAP classrooms, and has taught at Canyon Creek for 2 years, taking last year off to care for her newborn son. She has recently received a Masters in Multi-Cultural Education from the University of Washington, and is finishing up Northshore's Educator Leadership Academy, which focuses on Culturally Responsive teaching practices and connecting with the wealth of knowledge that families and communities can bring into a classroom environment.

Mrs. Hart lives in Woodinville with her husband, son, and a golden retriever, Beau. In her spare time she enjoys attending CrossFit classes, drawing, painting, photography, knitting, quilting, spending time outdoors with her family, caring for her growing orchid collection, and traveling.
