About Me

This is my eighth year as a teacher and my sixth  teaching at Inglemoor. Prior to my teaching career, I spent 18 years as a software engineer, physicist, project manager, and tabletop game publisher, and I bring that real-world experience to my classroom and look for opportunities to show my students the various ways math impacts our lives.

I am endorsed to teach both math and physics, and I have real-world professional experience in graphic design, editing, programming, typesetting, and IP development, so feel free to ask me for help with a variety of subjects and tasks!

I earned my BA in physics from Lewis & Clark College, and I earned my Masters degree in Teaching Math & Science from Seattle Pacific University. I have two children: my son is in 8th grade, and my daughter is in 12th grade. I love games of all types, I don't like coffee, and I would rather live in the mountains than on the beach.

Let's have a great year!
