Welcome to 1st Grade PACE! I am excited to be apart of the Lockwood family and am enjoying my 17th year of teaching primary students. I graduated with a Bachelors of Art in Interdisciplinary Education from Dallas Baptist University in 2002 and then completed my Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction with an Emphasis in Literacy Education from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2018. This past June my family and I moved to the PNW from the great state of Texas and are enjoying exploring new places.

I have a passion for education and love watching my students as they gain new knowledge. I believe every student can learn when given the right tools and I believe it is my job to provide the necessary learning tools for them. I enjoy learning new things each day and I want to instill a love of learning in each of my students as well. I am excited to be on this journey with you and the Northshore School District!
