All About 4th Grade

4th grade is an exciting time in any student's life, we love it so much, that we've decided to stay!

4th graders experience a lot of change. Not only, are students figuring out who they want to be, they are learning how to be independent and solve problems on their own. Our goal is to have consistent and high expectations for our students. We expect them to struggle a little bit, however, we are there to offer support and problem solving techniques when they do.

This year, you can look forward to learning about:

• Multi-digit multiplication, long division, fractions, and decimals
• Character traits, themes, research skills, and nonfiction summaries
• Boxes and bullets, informational writing, and narrative writing with a focus on character
• Pioneers and Native Americans
• Biology systems, energy, landforms, and waves
