Course Assessment: Faculty looking to submit a course assessment report will find instructions and form links under Course Reports. Note: If you have already submitted your initial assessment and are returning to submit your reassessment, contact your Department Assessment Coordinator for the direct link to your report.

Accessing Canvas Outcome Data: Complete the Canvas Assessment Data Request form if you need ILO or program outcome data for individual or course assessment purposes. Faculty wanting to download their own course outcome data from Canvas can follow these instructions: Accessing Individual Course ILO Data in Canvas.

National Institute for Learning Outcomes Assessment (NILOA): "NILOA is a research and resource-development organization dedicated to documenting, advocating, and facilitating the systematic use of learning outcomes assessment to improve student learning."

Association of American Colleges & Universities: "The mission of the Association of American Colleges and Universities is to advance the vitality and public standing of liberal education by making quality... the foundations for excellence in undergraduate education in service to democracy."  

James Madison University Assessment Skills Framework: "This webpage is a resource for those who would like to learn about or teach others about assessment. The page is structured using a taxonomy of assessment knowledge, skills, and attitudes described in the Assessment Skills Framework."

IUPUI Assessment Institute: "The Assessment Institute is designed to provide opportunities for (1) individuals and campus teams new to outcomes assessment to acquire fundamental knowledge about the field, (2) individuals who have worked as leaders in outcomes assessment to share and extend their knowledge and skills, and (3) those interested in outcomes assessment at any level to establish networks that serve as sources of support and expertise beyond the dates of the Institute."

Association for the Assessment of Learning in Higher Education (AALHE): Our mission is to develop and support a community of educators and inform assessment practices in higher education to foster and improve student learning and institutional quality.

Student Affairs Assessment Leaders (SAAL): SAAL’s mission is to create an open and welcoming environment for educators who coordinate and/or contribute to assessment for and within divisions of student affairs to share and receive information and resources that will advance their work.

New England Educational Assessment Network (NEean): NEean is a network of dedicated assessment professionals, administrators and faculty committed to advancing assessment practice at their institutions to enhance student learning.

Learning Improvement Community: As the student learning outcomes assessment movement has evolved in U.S. higher education, a wide range of approaches, methods, frameworks, and practices have emerged. But the core purpose of learning assessment, its reason for being and its most important challenge, is to facilitate the improvement of student learning.

Grand Challenges in Assessment Project: The Grand Challenges for Assessment in Higher Education project is a collaborative effort endorsed by nine higher education organizations with the goal of creating national strategic plans to address pressing challenges facing assessment in higher education.
