All students at ARC are welcomed to join the club and to participate in our activities regardless of your educational path.
Who we are:
The American River College Engineering Club (the club) is a school-sponsored membership organization dedicated to promoting professionalism among engineering students. This constitution works in conjunction with the rules and regulations of American River College and the Center For Leadership and Development (CLD).
Our Mission:
The mission of the ARC Engineering Club is to provide students with an experience that will enhance their success as they transfer to an engineering program at a university.
How we do it:
The club seeks to provide students with as much knowledge as possible regarding the engineering profession and to help with the transfer process to a four year university. This is accomplished through
presentations by guest speakers from the engineering profession and transfer schools,
talks on how to transfer and what to expect in a 4 year institution
internship, financial aid, and scholarship presentations
field trips and any other available avenues (such as workshops) to improve students’ chances of success in becoming engineers.
