For secondary schools, please review the document on our SharePoint site called “Preparing for Course Selections”. This document includes the guided steps required to prepare for online course selections within Aspen. Steps include setting up the track selections as well as preparing student records with both Next School > Name and Academic Track Type details.
Remind your feeder schools to ensure the students have their Next School > Name destination school and Academic Track Type set to standard in Aspen. This data is required prior to the students completing their online selections at their new school. This field can be mass assigned with the feeder school selection for all grade 8 students, and then you can update individual selections if a student will be attending a different secondary school.
