Reading Challenges

1. Read for 15 minutes.  Find someone at home and tell them about the beginning, the middle and the end of what you just read.  Have a parent sign a note saying you did this to earn a ticket.

2. Choose a reading link on your teacher's webpage.  Read for 15 minutes in an unusual location.  Build a fort, hide under some blankets, sit under a dining room table.  Write down 3 things that happen in the story OR three facts you read about in a nonfiction article.  Have a parent sign a note saying you did this to earn a ticket.

3.  Draw something you remember about what you just read. Have a parent sign a note saying you did this to earn a ticket.
