Westview Achievers is a program dedicated to promoting academic achievement and engagement opportunities for Kindergarten through 5th grade students who qualify for additional academic support through targeted services. Classes are financially supported by the State of Minnesota. Funds are provided based on criteria determined by the State.

Classes meet from 8:30 - 9:10 on Friday mornings.

Westview Elementary Student Expectations must be followed by all participants in the after school program.

Regular attendance is expected. Please send a note if your child attends during the school day, but is excused

from his/her after school class.

Due to budget cuts, there is no bussing provided. Parents may wish to arrange car pools.

Students will participate in motivating, interactive learning stations focused on essential reading and math skills. Westview teaching staff will lead the Achiever classes and will place students in small groups based on grade level and skills. Homework and organization skill coaching will also be a focus for students in grades 2-5.
