Twins Game National Anthem Info
Tuesday, June 23 - 6:40 game
We're excited to have the opportunity to sing at Target Field before the Twins game on Tuesday,
June 23, as they take on the World Series Champion, LA Dodgers. Thank you for supporting your child in this experience. Below are some important details regarding the event:
1) Singers need to have their own transportation arranged. Make sure you give yourself enough time to get to Target Field! Traffic tends to become an issue once you get into downtown. (You might consider using the Light Rail at the 30'h Ave Station near the Mall of America.. get on the 4:43 train and it will take you right to where we gather!)
2) All singers must have their ticket when we gather OUTSIDE Gate 6 (see map on back side) at 5:20. This is the entrance right by the Light Rail station. Do not enter the stadium on your own. A Twins staffer will lead singers and directors down to the staging area to await their performance.
3) Once w e are done singing, students will meet up with their parent/guardian outside of the Town Ball Tavern on the Club level, immediately behind the left field foul pole. Staff will remain with the children until every singer has been handed off to their adult.
5) FYI, the choir sings i n the outfield, so our group seats do not allow a good vantage point to watch the choir. We suggest finding a spot along the concourse so that you can see the choir. Please know that the National Anthem is usually sung at around 6:25 or 6:30 (even though it is broadcast several minutes later on the radio).
